THE DATA
Same data, any asset, any company, any sourcing region, so it rolls up and compares cleanly. Delivered as fields in your data license, on-demand scores from the API, or a workbook and dashboard you can hand to a board.
HOW THE DATA IS USED
Pick the job you need done. Each one shows which package does it. They all run on the same species data, so you can go from a first screen to a disclosure without switching datasets.

01 · LOCATE YOUR RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Whether you are screening hundreds of deals a year, choosing a facility site or deciding which supply sheds need attention first, the job is the same: rank every place by what is at stake, and say why. SAVE ranks every place by what is at stake for species. RISK ranks every sourcing area by how exposed its natural inputs are.
SAVE · Stewardship and vulnerability to extinction
SAVE is an extinction-risk metric for species and ecosystems. For every species in an area it combines stewardship, global vulnerability, local pressure and species response, rolls them up to one score per site, and breaks the score down by pressure, so it says both where it matters and what to reduce. SAVE Species guards against extinction; SAVE Ecosystems guards against collapse.

HOW YOU GET IT
From one species to a whole portfolio, through the platform, a workbook or the API.
Batch screening is priced per site bucket, not per hectare. Supports TNFD LEAP (L4, E1), SBTN Step 1b, CSRD/ESRS E4, the draft NPI extinction-risk indicator and GBF Targets 1–4.
Piloting
As a screen, RISK ranks every operating site and sourcing area by how exposed it is: which commodities depend on which ecosystem services there, and where those services are weakening. The forward-looking question: are the natural inputs to this activity degrading?
COMMODITY × SERVICE RISK, BY SOURCING AREA
Each cell is one commodity in one sourcing area, so you can see where to look first, before it reaches the yield. A top-tier agricultural trader is expanding its paid RISK pilot to two more regions.
THEN, THE BUSINESS CASE
Found the hotspots? Next is what nature is doing for production there, and how resilient it is.
The screen tells you where to look. The same RISK data then breaks each hotspot down service by service: what the species are delivering, how that has changed, and where the business is exposed.
02 · MAKE THE BUSINESS CASE
A screen tells you where to look. The business case needs the next step: what the species at a place are actually delivering to production, and how resilient that delivery is. RISK goes deeper here, commodity by commodity and service by service, in scores that slot straight into your own financial models.

Climate regulation
Eight services under the UN SEEA classification, each scored from the habitat condition of the birds, mammals and reptiles that provide or indicate it. Commodity by commodity: oil palm, soy, corn, wheat, rice, cotton, canola and more.
RISK
From species, to the services they deliver, to what is at stake for the business.
For each commodity and sourcing area, RISK scores how much of each service is being delivered today, how that has changed, and where it is most exposed. One client has already linked those scores to its own yield and cost data to put a financial value on them. Built-in valuation is next on our roadmap.
03 · PLAN WHERE TO ACT AND HOW
A plan needs two answers at once: which places matter most, and which pressure to reduce there. SAVE is built from four components that give you both. The first two say how much the world is counting on your area for a species; the second two say what is pushing on it locally and how sensitive the species are to that push. Read together, they turn a score into an action.
RESPONSIBILITY
Stewardship
The share of each species’ global range that sits inside your area.
GLOBAL CONTEXT
Global vulnerability
How close the species is to extinction across its whole distribution.
LOCAL URGENCY
Local pressure
Severity of land use, resource use, freshwater withdrawal and nutrient pollution at this location.
SENSITIVITY
Species response
How each species responds to those specific pressures.
GLOBAL
Stewardship and global vulnerability tell you where your responsibility is highest: places that hold a large share of a species’ range, or species already close to extinction.
LOCAL
Local pressure and species response tell you what to do there: which pressure to reduce first, and how much the species at that place will respond when you do.
THE OUTPUT
A priority map of your portfolio, each place tagged with its driving pressure, so the intervention list writes itself and can be costed.
04 · TRACK CHANGE OVER TIME · SPECIES HABITAT INDEX
SHI combines the unique set of species in an area with the change in area and connectivity of their suitable habitat since 2001. It captures structure, composition and function, and every change is attributable to land-cover change.
SHI answers the question buyers kept asking us: did it get better, and where? Adopted as a component indicator of the UN Global Biodiversity Framework, so it is globally comparable and maps straight to disclosure.

IMPACT · PILOTING
IMPACT is an attributable metric built on SAVE. It measures how your own activities, at a known asset or sourcing area, are positively or negatively affecting species and ecosystems that are globally and locally at risk, broken down by pressure and tracked over time. Losses from land conversion show up, and so do gains from restoration, such as improving land cover.
It works with the activity data you already have: sector averages for a first pass, LCA data, or measured data. So it scales from a whole company universe down to a single farm, and it gets sharper as you add local data.

05 · REPORT AND DISCLOSE
Bespoke, one-off assessments don’t compare across sites or years and won’t stand up to assurance. Every package ships with a mapping to the frameworks you report under, metrics that trace back to the species behind them, and a plain guide to what you may and may not claim.
